We decided to name them Socks and Lucky - for now. Whoever buys them, of course, will give them their forever names. They are doing very well.

We have 2 female puppies for sale! Born on 11/30/10. Both are dark brown with white markings. Both are doing well so far, growing and nursing. They will be ready for their forever home about 1/25/11.

Puppy Update

Puppies are weaned, they are on dry food and doing well. They have had their first shots and dewormings. They are in that adorable stage. They play well with each other and with our children.

They will be ready to go to their forever homes at the end of July.

Miniature Schnauzer

Miniature Schnauzers are often described as alert and spirited, yet obedient to command. They are intelligent, friendly, and willing to please. They are NOT overaggressive or timid. They are considered easy to train.

The breed is generally good with children, but as with all dogs and children, they should be supervised.

Puppy Food

Your puppy will be weaned and on Nutro's Natural Choice puppy food. You will be given a bag of this food when you pick up your puppy.

If you wish to switch foods... keep the puppy on this food for the first few days, then begin to mix half of the old food with 1/2 of the new food for 2-3 days and then change to the new food completely. If you change too fast, the puppy is likely to have diarrhea.

Buyer Contract

Our puppies are sold as pet quality only, which means no guarantee can be made as to disposition, life span, size, color, show quality, or breeding ability.

We make every effort to assure the health of these puppies. We bring them to the vet. They will be up to date on their shots and dewormings as per our vet.

All puppies will have their tails docked and dew claws removed... the ears however are left natural.

Buyer agrees to take the puppy to the vet within 24 hours of purchase. Failure to do so will void the warranty! Any life threatening emergencies must be reported to us immediately with a written and notarized report from your licensed vet!!

What this doesn't include: kennel cough, coccidia, giardia, hypoglycemia, retained testicles, umbilical hernias, any parasites including worms, fleas, earmites, etc. These are common and treatable conditions.

All warranties are NULL and VOID if puppy's illness is caused by neglect, exposure to weather, injury, choking, poisoning, chronic obesity, poor hygiene.

Refunds will not be given due to buyer's allergy, landlord's disapproval, family's disagreement or any other problem not related to health.

However, if buyer cannot keep the puppy, he/she may return the puppy, but no monies will be refunded.

If life threatening illness is found and buyer does not wish to return puppy, seller is not responsible for expenses. If the life threatening illness is found and reported within the 72 hours, buyer may return the puppy for a refund. Seller will need to be given all reports by the vet.

Puppy must be paid in full by pickup day. Only cash is accepted at this time.

Deposit

This is what you will agree to if you sign our deposit form:

Deposit of $250 is non-refundable and can be made in cash or check.
The puppy will be kept here until he/she is at least 8 weeks old. However, if we or our vet feels that the puppy needs to stay longer, we have the right to keep puppy longer. Our main concern is that the puppies are healthy enough to go to their forever home.

Puppies For Sale

Cocoa and Cullen are our two toy sized miniature schnazuers. Cocoa is liver colored and Cullen is black. Both have some white markings. Cocoa is 8.6lbs and Cullen is 10lbs.

Both dogs are raised in our home with our five children. They get lots of love and attenton every day. Cocoa is laid back and sweet. Cullen is very playful. Their puppies will be very used to being handled and played with.

We will be offering a health guarantee. If you buy a puppy from us, take that puppy to the vet within 72 hours of purchase. If the vet finds a life threatening condition, you can return the puppy. There are things the health guarantee won't cover, I will make a seperate post about that.

Deposit is $250 to hold the puppy until they are 8 weeks old.

Our puppies were born May 27th! They will be ready at the end of July.
